A park’s playground in the City of Chilton is being transformed into a more “active, multi-generational community hub.”
The city released renderings for its 2026 Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan to transform Klinkner Memorial Park.
The new playground will bring “modern, vibrant, and durable structures to the park which are designed to spark early childhood development across physical, social, and sensory metrics.”
There is also something for adults, as the city wants to add two new pickleball courts.
The project is expected to be completed by Spring 2027, with part of the funding being donated by an anonymous donor and a Redevelopment fund account.
Chilton city officials say they will share updates as the project comes together.
