Bond has been set for a former Madison-area priest accused of sex crimes.
Andrew Showers was in court yesterday, where he was given a $15,000 cash bail after being charged with attempted grooming of a child and bail jumping in Marathon County.
Showers was arrested last August after allegedly going to meet a 15-year-old girl, but it was actually an undercover law enforcement agent.
He was kept from public ministry at the time, but was dismissed from the clerical state back in June.
Showers was charged last year in Waupaca County for similar crimes.
