
There are three governmental meetings today (August 24th) in the City of Sheboygan.
Up first will be the Licensing, Hearings, and Public Safety Committee meeting at 4:30 p.m. inside the third-floor conference room at City Hall.
The group will discuss establishing a DORA for the 2026 Riverfest event before approving various alcohol and tobacco licenses.
They will then finish with a quasi-judicial hearing to determine if a beverage operator’s license will be renewed.
Then, at 5:00 p.m., the Public Works Committee will meet in Council Chambers, where they will discuss amending the design plans for the  Gartman Farm Subdivision.
They will then authorize a purchase order for a forklift before unveiling the winners of the DPW Name That Truck contest.
Closing out the day will be the Finance and Personnel Committee meeting at 6:00 p.m., also in Council Chambers.
The group will issue Municipal Revenue Obligations for five Tax Incremental Districts before discussing an agreement with BoldPath Consulting, LLC for an Uptown Social staffing and organizational review.
