An investigation is underway after an officer-involved shooting in Green Bay.
A welfare check was called in for a residence in the 1700 block of Bolad Road, where three Green Bay Police officers reported that an individual brandished a firearm.
All three officers ended up shooting the suspect, who was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The three officers were all placed on administrative leave, as is department policy, as the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation has taken over the case.
They are being assisted by the Wisconsin State Patrol, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, and the Green Bay Metro Fire Department.
No more details are being released at this time.
