
The first of three suspects charged with bringing a large amount of methamphetamine into Manitowoc County has been sentenced in federal court.
31-year-old Karonn Hamilton will spend eight years in federal prison and five years on supervised release.
Another accomplice, 31-year-old Andre Allen, will be sentenced on federal charges on August 31st.
29-year-old Corven M. Jones, who was found guilty due to a no-contest plea in state court, will be sentenced on September 25th.
All three men were arrested by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s deputies and Green Bay DEA in December last year.
25 pounds of meth were found in the vehicle they were driving in, with an estimated street value of $250,000.
All three were also armed with guns, with one stolen from the State of Virginia.
