There are two new members of the Lakeland University team.
The university has shared that Diana Deyoe has been hired as an assistant professor of communication, while Dr. Tanzil Shahria has been named an assistant professor of computer science.
Deyoe joins Lakeland as a doctoral candidate from Purdue University, where she maintained an active research agenda focusing on how social media platforms impact communication, particularly with political communication strategies.
Meanwhile, Dr. Shahria comes to Lakeland after time working and attending the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, where he received his Ph. D. in computer science.
Through his work, he has specialized in artificial intelligence, deep learning, and human-centered robotics.
