Parents and students in the Manitowoc Public School District have a few important dates to remember as the first day of school fast approaches.
Families with children entering kindergarten through 4th grade will have a chance to visit their school on August 31st, where students can meet their teacher and drop off their school supplies.
This pre-school event will run from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Then, September 1st is Transition Day for students in grades K–9 and any Lincoln High School students who are new to MPSD.
The exact times and details will be sent out by the schools.
And finally, on September 2nd, students will return to class for the 2026/2027 school year.
