Parking is now prohibited around a certain area of Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital.
The Manitowoc Common Council approved an amendment to not allow parking on the north side of Meadow Lane from Riverview Drive.
Parking will also be banned on the west side of Riverview Drive from Meadow Lane, for a distance of 113 feet northward.
The area is near the hospital’s loading dock, and HFM Enterprise Facility Services Director Eric Braun says the change will allow a little more room for semi-trucks entering and exiting.
City documents show that the process of prohibiting parking started back in July.
