A local nonprofit has received grant funding to make home repairs in Sheboygan County.
Rebuilding Together Sheboygan County (RTSC) has been awarded a $2,500 grant through the AARP Community Challenge program.
A portion of these funds will specifically be used to make home repairs for Sheboygan County adults aged 50 years or older.
Meanwhile, the remaining grant dollars will help fund RTSC-led talks aiming to educate area homeowners, focusing on homeownership, home safety, home maintenance, and services the nonprofit is able to provide.
The first of these talks will be held tomorrow (August 19th) at 11:00 a.m. Generations in Plymouth. The next two will follow on September 9th at 10:00 a.m. at Uptown Social in Sheboygan and on September 17th at 11:00 a.m. inside the Adell Community Center.
While these talks will be targeting those 50 years or older, they will offer valuable information for homeowners of any age.
