The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is offering one opportunity to spend the night on a historic submarine.
The final Submarine Sleepover on the USS Cobia for Grown-Ups of the year takes place this weekend on August 22nd and 23rd from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Participants will spend the night on Cobia and learn about diving procedures, firing torpedoes, and aiming deck guns.
In the morning, guests can explore the Museum’s galleries and learn about Wisconsin’s maritime heritage.
It costs $50 per person, and you must register in advance.
The Wisconsin Maritime Museum reminds guests that multiple people will stay in the museum at one time, and due to the nature of the submarine’s bunking arrangements, there is no guarantee that people will have a fully private sleeping area.
