The 12th annual Soar on the Shore Kite & Beach Festival is returning to Crescent Beach in Algoma.
This festival is free and open to the public and will run on August 22nd from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The Wisconsin Kiters Club will be present to fill the sky with all types of kites.
New this year will be Jess from Elemental Aerial Arts, who will be stilt walking on the beach.
This festival is sure to be a blast, with kites, family activities, crafts, and food.
This event will also allow attendees to experience hands-on activities with Glacierland RC&D, Algoma Venture Academy, the Ice Age Trail Alliance, Door County Maritime Museum, and Discover Green Bay.
Several food vendors will be present, and many organizations will also be raising funds through food sales.
