Wisconsin Public Service has picked out its new safe digging ‘ambassadog’.
Ruby, an 18-month-old English cream golden retriever, is the chosen pup.
She will spend her next year on digital billboards, reminding the public to contact 811 at least three days before they begin digging.
Ruby was chosen by the public through an intense safe digging ambassadog contest, and she was the final dog that was able to pull the interest of the people in northeast Wisconsin.
