A principal at a Sheboygan school will be pulling double duty this school year.
The Sheboygan Area School District (SASD) has announced that Cleveland Elementary Principal Dr. Ted DiStefano has also been named the new Principal of Jefferson Elementary School.
Dr. DiStefano has a 30-year career in the education field, where he has served in roles including teacher, coordinator, director, and, of course, principal.
On his wealth of experience, DiStefano stated, “Each of these experiences has strengthened my belief that schools are at their best when students, families, and staff work together toward a common goal—helping every child learn, grow, and feel that they belong.”
Last summer, DiStefano was announced as Principal at Cleveland Elementary following 13 years in the district at Urban Middle School.
Regarding his new role, the principal ended with a message to Jefferson families, noting, “I am excited about the year ahead and look forward to working with you and your children. Together, we can make 2026–2027 a wonderful school year for our Jefferson Jaguars!”
