
The opening night film has been announced for the Sheboygan Film Festival.
The chosen movie, Chili Finger, is a black comedy crime film made in 2026 and set in Wisconsin, starring Judy Greer, Sean Astin, Bryan Cranston, and John Goodman.
Chili Finger is about a lawyer living in a small town who blackmails a restaurant owner after finding a human finger in her chili.
Through this, her goal is to regain control over her drab life.
The movie will be shown on October 1st at the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts.
Before the movie, there will be a red-carpet reception and photo and networking opportunities starting at 6:00 pm.
The screening will begin at 7:00 pm. After the movie, attendees are invited to the Weill Center lobby to socialize and enjoy music by Community Playlist.
Tickets for opening night are on sale now and are $25.
These tickets are included in the Film Lover and Festival Experience passes and include one drink ticket.
