Mishicot High School is being praised by the WIAA.
A total of 28 schools around the state, including Mishicot, have been named the 2025-2026 recipients of the Award of Excellence.
The WIAA issues this award every year to highlight the efforts and achievements of schools in the areas of sportsmanship, ethics, integrity, leadership, character and administrative accomplishment.
Mishicot High School is the only Eastern Wisconsin school on the list, and this is the first time they earned the award.
Recipients will be presented the Award of Excellence at their respective district’s Area Meeting in September and will be recognized for the achievement on the WIAA website and social media, in State Tournament programs and video boards, in the WIAA Bulletin and at the 2027 Annual Meeting.
