Sheboygan County residents are being warned about an increase in scams regarding the fair.
The Sheboygan County Fair Park has stated that it has been made aware of fraudulent emails and social media accounts claiming to represent the fair.
The Fair Park is urging residents to never send money, personal information, or payment details to suspicious accounts or unverified email addresses.
They have also noted that they have seen an increase in unofficial sellers and scammers offering Chase Matthew tickets at inflated prices online and through social media.
Regarding these scams, the Fair Park said, “Always verify information through our official website and social media pages before responding… To ensure your tickets are legitimate and that you are paying the official price, only purchase Chase Matthew tickets through the Sheboygan County Fair and our official ticketing links.”
