Eastern Wisconsin’s representative in Congress is trying to get the Fox Valley some more help following last month’s tornado.
Congressman Glenn Grothman and the entire bipartisan Wisconsin Congressional delegation officially requested that FEMA conduct a Joint Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA) with Wisconsin Emergency Management following the devastating EF3 tornado that struck the Fox Valley on July 27th.
The storm and tornado destroyed many homes, businesses, and school property in Menasha and Appleton, and left more than 30,000 homes without power.
Rep. Grothman and the others in the delegation noted, “Conducting a timely Joint Preliminary Damage Assessment is an essential first step in securing the federal support needed to help affected families, local governments, and communities recover and rebuild.”
