Multiple organizations will be partnering this week to raise money for athletes in Wisconsin.
The Manitowoc Police Department and Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office have announced that they will both be participating in the Cop on a Rooftop campaign at Dunkin Donuts on Friday (August 14th).
This semi-annual fundraising campaign will have local members of law enforcement raising money to benefit the Special Olympics of Wisconsin.
The last Cop on a Rooftop event in Sheboygan not only featured the Sheriff’s Office, but also police officers from the Sheboygan and Plymouth Police Departments as well.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office noted, “Our deputies will be out there having some fun, connecting with the community, and helping raise money for an incredible cause. Come say hello, grab some coffee and donuts, and help us support our Special Olympics athletes! We’ll see you on the rooftop!”
Cop on a Rooftop is a nationwide campaign that raises money to support the athletes competing in the Special Olympics in each respective state.
Dunkin is located at 2832 South Business Drive in Sheboygan and 3506 Calumet Avenue in Manitowoc.
