The Wisconsin US Senator in charge of the Senate Committee on the Budget has released a resolution for next year.
Senator Ron Johnson says the 2027 budget resolution “provides the blueprint to unlock the reconciliation process that will deliver critical election integrity improvements and the Trump Administration’s national security supplemental request.”
While details as to what would be in the budget weren’t specifically provided, Sen. Johnson says the US has the finest men and women in our armed services, in harm’s way.
He added, it’s “beyond unfortunate that providing support for their efforts and protection has turned into a partisan issue.”
He finishes by saying that the resolution would fund the bare minimum required for the defense of the US, and he urges his colleagues to support it.
