A 49-year-old man is in custody following a standoff with police in Greenfield.
Officers responded Saturday (August 8th) morning to a reported domestic incident.
Police say the man barricaded himself inside a home and threatened to take his own life and set the house on fire.
Negotiators eventually de-escalated the situation, and the man was taken into custody several hours later without incident.
At this time, domestic incident charges are pending.
