SBA relief is still available for Wisconsin businesses, private nonprofits, and residents who have been affected by weather emergencies.
They remind those affected that the deadline to apply for low-interest federal disaster loans is August 31st.
These loans are for those affected between April 13th and 23rd in primary Wisconsin counties.
Businesses and private non-profits are eligible for up to $2 million in loans, while homeowners and renters can get up to $500,000.
Some applicants could also be eligible for a loan increase up to 20% of their physical damage.
Interest rates for these loans are low for all applicants, sitting at 4% for businesses, 3.625% for nonprofits, and 2.875% for homeowners and renters.
The filing deadline for these loans is August 31st, and the deadline to return economic injury applications is March 30th, 2027.
The SBA also allows a 60-day grace period after the deadline has passed.
