After a turnaround of epic proportions, the Manitowoc White Caps will continue their postseason push tonight.
The Caps, in their inaugural season, started off a bit slow, only going 1-5 to start the season, but since July 9th, they have completely flipped the script.
A 5-4 win over the Ashwaubenon Lookouts spurred a stretch where the Caps have won five of their last eight games, including a 13-3 upset over the #2 team in the Shoreland League, the Kewaunee Chiefs.
The Caps started their Shoreland League Tournament play with a 10-3 win over the Two Rivers Polar Bears on Tuesday, ending the Bears’ first season back at 1-11.
The Caps will be on Bruce Steinbecker Field tonight, where they will face the 3-9 Lookouts.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
