The New Holstein Police Department is thanking the community for their patience and cooperation after an incident Tuesday evening.
Officers were called to the area of Calumet Drive and State Avenue for a report of a disturbance.
The suspect in the incident, which was not specified, has fled on foot.
New Holstein Police received assistance from the Kiel Police Department and Calumet County Sheriff’s Office to conduct an extensive search of the area, including the vicinity of Civic Park and New Holstein Elementary School.
Both ground resources and drone technology were used in an effort to find the suspect.
Police say the incident was isolated and there is no threat to the public.
