A missing veteran banner in Manitowoc has been found.
Shady Lane Inc. tells Seehaferenews.com that a kind citizen returned the banner of Private Robert Nelson to a City of Manitowoc employee after it had blown down due to strong winds.
The banner has been re-hung in its proper location.
McDonell also thanked the community for getting the word out about the missing banner.
The banner is part of Shady Lane’s Salute to Service Program, which was created to honor local veterans for their service.
