A local shelter is looking to raise money for the animals in their care.
The Humane Society of Sheboygan County will be hosting Putts for Pups on August 15th at Mulligan’s Golf Course in Howards Grove.
This event is a brand new fundraising initiative for the Humane Society featuring an open putting challenge to earn raffle tickets.
Participants can get five putts for $10 or 12 putts for $20, with each successful putt earning the golfer tickets, while more difficult puts will increase the number of tickets won.
When the competition comes to a close, the person sitting atop the leaderboard will also receive a special grand prize.
Those with a tee time will also be able to take part in on-course challenges, all while raising money for the most vulnerable animals in Sheboygan County.
Those not looking to participate in the golfing portion are still encouraged to attend, as a donation of pet food will also net you five free raffle tickets.
Adoptable dogs will also be on hand, along with Humane Society representatives providing information on adoption, fostering, and volunteering.
