Chippewa County prosecutors’ case against Carson Peters-Berger will not be going to trial.
Peters-Berger is charged in the 2022 killing of 10-year-old Lily Peters.
The D.A.’s office announced Wednesday that a resolution hearing will be held August 26th, heading off a jury trial that had been scheduled to begin in November.
Prosecutors have given no indication as to what the resolution will look like.
