A Manitowoc man accused of sexually assaulting a woman, leading to two unintended pregnancies, has been ruled competent for his case to move forward.
37-year-old Randy Kue was back in court last week for a competency hearing as he faced charges of First-Degree Sexual Assault Causing Great Bodily Harm, Second-Degree Sexual Assault with the Use of Force, Third-Degree Sexual Assault, and three counts of Child Abuse Intentionally Causing Harm.
At that hearing, Judge Jerilyn Dietz ruled him competent to understand and assist his lawyer in the case.
Then, on Monday (August 3rd), he returned for his preliminary hearing, where probable cause was found, and he was bound over for further proceedings.
Kue has been accused of sexually and physically assaulting a woman repeatedly between 2019 and 2025, and is alleged to have impregnated the victim twice.
He’s further alleged to have physically assaulted three minor children between 2020 and 2022 as well.
No future court date has been set for Kue as he has requested a substitution of judge in his case.
