There are a pair of meetings today (August 5th) in the City of Two Rivers.
Up first is the Public Works Committee, which will be in the Committee Room in City Hall at 5:15 p.m.
After hearing input from the public, the group will get the latest on the sidewalk replacement and asphalt resurfacing projects, before also discussing the East River Trail and parking lot project.
The group will then review the Infrastructure Improvement Public Surveys for the 15th and 16th Street projects between Bucholz Street and Zander Park before getting an update on the cleanup efforts following the May 17th storms.
Also up for discussion will be some school pedestrian flashing lights, pedestrian crossings on Washington Street and Memorial Drive, and a review of the traffic and speed studies for the 2400 block of Adams Street, the 2600 block of Forrest Avenue, and the 1900 block of Hawthorne Avenue.
Closing out the day will be the latest concept listening session for the former Hamilton Property.
That will be held in the area around the fireplace in the Lester Public Library at 5:30 p.m.
