There is only one governmental meeting scheduled for today (August 5th) in the City of Sheboygan.
There will be a Special Board of Police and Fire Commissioners meeting held at 4:00 p.m. inside the third-floor conference room at City Hall.
There is only one item on the agenda for the Board’s special meeting, which will be held in closed session.
The Board will continue to deliberate an ongoing case involving an officer with the Sheboygan Police Department.
The meeting’s agenda states the closed session is necessary “for purposes of consideration of specific personnel problems which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person involved in such problems.”
However, the name of the person subject to these discussions was not provided.
Following the closed session, the board will reconvene in an open session to take possible action on the matter.
