A local organization is thanking the community for helping them fix a broken door.
Grow It Forward announced that a glass door at their office on Marshall Street broke, and replacing it would have cost around $1,000.
However, Grow It Forward says donors who gave money “shattered” their expectations, raising every dollar needed to replace the glass.
The organization says they are “truly blown away by this community. Thank you for helping us keep our doors open—and for proving once again that when something breaks, this community comes together to make it whole.”
Grow It Forward did not want to spend money on the glass because they wanted funding to continue to go toward their cause.
