Two Sheboygan residents are without a home after a fire Monday morning (August 3rd).
The Sheboygan Fire Department tells SeehaferNews.com that the entire department was dispatched to the area of 22nd Street just before 11:30 a.m. on a report of a residential structure fire.
They arrived to find smoke emanating from the structure, and learned that all of the occupants had safely evacuated.
The fire was brought under control within ten minutes, but not before it caused an estimated $20,000 in damage.
Overhaul operations continued, and crews battled hot spots for the next hour or so before clearing the scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but we do know that the two residents were displaced.
