Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley is picking up support from a Wisconsin congresswoman.
US Rep. Gwen Moore announced Friday her support of Crowley ahead of the Democratic primary on August 11th.
Moore said Crowley is “ready to be the next governor of Wisconsin,” arguing he has delivered results in the Badger State “time and time again.”
Crowley has also received endorsements from Governor Tony Evers, labor unions, and more.
Crowley dropped out of the race last month, but reentered following the withdrawal of Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez.
Meanwhile, another Democratic candidate is rallying support in Cream City.
State Rep. Francesca Hong held an event at South Milwaukee High School yesterday, and was joined by Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and political commentator Hasan Piker.
It was part of her “We Make Better Possible” campaign, coming just over a week before the August 11th primary election.
The latest Marquette University poll showed Hong with a commanding lead over her Democratic rivals.
