An updated motel in Two Rivers is continuing its rebuild.
The owners of the Cool City Motel say they are getting ready to bring in a new sign that will be seen on Lincoln Avenue.
The original signs that have welcomed guests for years will be retired from being seen on the roadside, but they are not going anywhere.
Brian and Amanda say the vintage signs will be kept somewhere on the property as a little nod to the Cool City Motel’s past.
It’s part of preserving a bit of its history and is just as important as building its future.
Brian and Amanda announced in September last year that they purchased the motel to transform it into a welcoming, modern destination.
