A Madison-area lawmaker’s lead is growing in the Democratic primary race for governor.
State Rep. Francesca Hong earned 38 percent of the vote in a new Marquette University Law poll that was released yesterday, up from 26 percent in the previous survey.
Former Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes was in second place with 16 percent of the vote, followed by Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley at seven percent.
The latest survey also shows a drop in undecided voters ahead of next month’s primary, going from 45 percent to 34 percent.
