The regular season is winding down for Shoreland League baseball teams.
With just six games left on the calendar, there is a clear top three, a pretty well-defined middle of the pack, and two teams at the bottom of the pile.
The Kewaunee Chiefs have only suffered one loss this season, which came at the hands of the surging Manitowoc White Caps last week.
They are followed on the standings board by the Denmark Devilbears, who sit at 9-2, while the Casco A’s are 8-2.
The middle of the pack is occupied by the aforementioned White Caps, who are coming off a win over the Two Rivers Polar Bears on Monday and sit at 5-7.
The Ashwaubenon Lookouts are also pressing late in the season after struggling mightily at the start of the season.
They sit at 3-8 and have won 3 of their last 5.
The bottom of the league is occupied by the Algoma Guins, who are 2-8, and the Polar Bears at 1-10.
Those two teams will face off tonight at Perry Field in Algoma, while the Chiefs and Athletics do battle at Village Park in Casco.
Both games will begin at 7:30 p.m.
