Valders’ Community Picnic is almost here.
This event is put on by Valders Fire and Rescue and will be held on July 31st, August 1st, and August 2nd.
First, on the 31st, there will be N.E.W Truck and Tractor Pulls at 7:00 p.m. and food trucks from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Next, August 1st has a full day of fun, starting at 8:00 a.m., where there will be the Viking Striders Fun Run 2- & 5-Mile Race.
This will lead to a doubles pool tournament.
At 10:00 a.m., 32 teams will play teams-double elimination, leaving only the best team standing.
Pool will start at $30 per team, and you can call 920-242-6989 to sign up.
Following pool will be horse pulls by the Wisconsin Farm Team Horse Pullers at 11:00 a.m.
Then, starting at 12:00 p.m. will be a corn hole tournament.

Finally, N.E.W. Truck and Tractor Pulls will be back at 5:30 p.m.
There will also be live music by Bellarain from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and live music by Johnny Wad at 7:30 p.m.
Finally, August 2nd kicks off with a huge car show, with registration starting at 8:00 a.m.
Then, the annual Valders parade will start at 11:30 a.m.
Kids Pedal Pulls and Farm Tractor Pulls will start at 1:00 p.m., as will live music by J.Laforce/Acoustic-Electric, which will go until 5:00 p.m.
A petting zoo will go all day, along with kids’ games, inflatables, raffle tickets, food, and beverages.
