While there has been a focus on a new subdivision on the former Lakeshore and Mid-Cities Mall site, the City of Manitowoc is still working on creating a second one.
The common council voted unanimously on Monday to approve the preliminary plat for the Deerbrook Crossing Subdivision.
It would create a street extension of Deerbrook Lane into land behind Vinton Construction.
Kellner Street would also be extended to fit into the new subdivision. City documents show 16 lots for home building.
A drainage plan still needs to be submitted before the final plat can be approved.
