A Milwaukee teenager has pleaded guilty to 14 of the 29 charges filed against him in connection with a series of armed robberies and the death of motorcyclist Marc Jones.
Zykevious Joshua-Alexander, who was 14 years old at the time of the offenses, is facing a recommended prison sentence of 30 to 35 years from prosecutors.
Milwaukee County Circuit Judge David Swanson acknowledged the teen’s young age while noting the complexity of the case due to the number of charges involved.
Investigators say Joshua-Alexander was fleeing police in a stolen vehicle when he ran a red light in Walker’s Point and crashed into Jones two years ago.
