
One person has died after a vehicle struck pedestrians and crashed into a Green Bay retention pond.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department was dispatched to the area of Westminster Drive and Salisbury Street at around 6:00 Wednesday evening (July 22nd) after receiving a report of the crash.
Two pedestrians were treated at the scene, with one eventually being taken to a local hospital, while additional units focused on the vehicle in the pond.
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Fire Department called in the Brown County Dive Team and Glenn’s Towing to help get the vehicle out of the pond.
No additional details have been released.
