United Way Manitowoc County is bringing back a fundraiser aimed at supporting a child literacy program.
United Way Manitowoc County’s Women United Action Team is inviting community members to register for the second annual Dolly Walk Fundraiser, which is scheduled for Saturday, August 8th, at the UW Green Bay – Manitowoc Campus.
All funds raised will go towards providing free books to children from birth to age five through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
The Dolly Walk will feature a casual two-mile walk beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Participants of all ages are welcome, and walkers are encouraged to dress like Dolly Parton for added fun.
Registration forms can be found at UnitedWayManitowocCounty.org at a cost of $32 for adults, $100 for teams of four adults, $16 for children 6 and older, and no cost for children 5 and younger.
