Milwaukee police are releasing a video related to an officer-involved shooting over Independence Day weekend.
Police were responding to reports of gunshots downtown on July 5th when an officer was hit by the 18-year-old suspect while he was driving a car near East Knapp Street and North Water Street.
Officers fired weapons at the fleeing vehicle, and they later found the suspect with a gunshot wound.
The release includes three short videos from different responding officers, including images of the suspect hitting the officer with the car.
The suspect has since been charged and remains in jail.
