There is only one meeting on the docket for today (July 20th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Common Council will be in the Council Chambers at 6:30 p.m., where they will administer the oaths of office for Firefighter/EMT Cole Hove, Firefighter/Paramedic Mason Meyers, Police Officers Edison Thai, Max Schaefer, and Zackery Schuette, and Police Lieutenant Jacob Shilcox.
Then, after receiving the annual update from Progress Lakeshore, the Council will hear from MPU on the 2026 Lead Service Line Replacement Program.
The Council will also discuss the recently approved changes to the weather siren schedule and criteria, before voting on a resolution for the preliminary plat for the Mariner Lux Subdivision, which will be located on the former Mid Cities and Lakeshore Mall sites.
