A Manitowoc woman has been arrested after allegedly threatening someone’s life with a knife.
21-year-old Kieya Hartigan received a $1,000 cash bail on Friday (July 17th) as she has been charged with Second-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety with the Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Criminal Damage to Property, both of which carry domestic abuse modifiers, Disorderly Conduct, and Felony Bail Jumping.
This comes as the 21-year-old is accused of using a knife in an attempt to slash the victim’s car tires, with the victim, who spoke during the bail hearing, adding that Hartigan then chased him with the knife, saying she was going to kill him.
Additional terms of her bail include no contact with the victim, and she is to maintain absolute sobriety.
Hartigan will be back in court today (July 20th) to make her initial appearance at 1:30 p.m.
As of this morning, she is no longer in custody after posting her bail Friday afternoon.
