A man from Two Rivers already facing drug trafficking charges has been picked up on additional narcotics offenses.
66-year-old Randy D. Miller was given a $300 cash bail on Tuesday (July 15th) as he faces charges of Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and one count each of Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Miller was recently arrested following a local traffic stop. During the stop, a K9 unit was brought in and alerted authorities to the presence of drugs.
During a search of the vehicle, police located fentanyl, meth, gem bags, and a digital scale in the passenger side door, where the 66-year-old was seated in the car.
Upon finding the drugs, Miller admitted to police that he bought the drugs and believed the fentanyl was, in fact, methamphetamine manufactured to look as if it were fentanyl.
However, when tests were completed at the police station, they picked up positive tests for both illegal substances.
Additional terms of his bail include maintaining absolute sobriety, and he is not to possess any controlled substances.
Despite being given a cash bail, Miller will remain in custody on a Department of Corrections hold even if he furnishes the money.
Miller has open cases in Manitowoc County for Delivering or Manufacturing Amphetamine, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, and other charges.
He will return to court in this most recent case for his initial appearance on Monday (July 20th).
