*The family of the former owner of WCUB and WLTU radio is remembering him next week.
Leede Research tells Seehafernews.com that a celebration of life for Lee Davis takes place on Sunday, July 19th, at the Manitowoc Yacht Club from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Davis is a member of the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame and has had a storied career in broadcasting, finding his love of local radio in the Manitowoc/Two Rivers area.
Leede Research calls Davis a staunch community supporter, both involved in and supporting many non-profit and community organizations.
The group finished by saying he believed local broadcasters were a critical partner in the success of their communities.
Davis passed away earlier this year at his home in Florida.
WCUB and WLTU are now owned by Seehafer Broadcasting.
*Correction: We were corrected as the family is hosting the celebration of life. Leede Research is letting the community know it’s happening.
