
As the conflict in Iran has picked back up, the gas prices in Eastern Wisconsin have also begun to rise.
After over a month of declining fuel prices, Manitowoc County saw a jump of 14 cents per gallon of regular unleaded fuel when compared to last week, with an average of $3.67 this morning, according to the AAA Gas Prices website.
Sheboygan County’s average also jumped 14 cents to $3.61, while Calumet County reported a 13-cent bump to $3.68.
Outagamie County was the least affected over the past seven days, showing a four-cent per gallon increase to $3.56, while Brown County reported a nine-cent jump to $3.64.
Kewaunee County motorists are noticing the biggest change in the area, a 15 cent bump to $3.71 per gallon, while Door County’s average is up eight cents to $3.72.
The statewide average followed local trends, rising nine cents to $3.64, and the national average is up a dime to $3.89.
