The Wisconsin Department of Health Services is looking into the first cases of West Nile Virus this year.
Officials announced the confirmed cases of mosquitoes in Milwaukee County and a wild bird found in Bayfield County.
However, no cases involving people have been found in the Badger State as of yet.
Health officials warned the virus is passed through infected mosquitoes, but can also spread from infected persons to others.
