After the introduction of a new community resource, the Sheboygan County Warming Center is in need of donations.
The Warming Center held its official ribbon-cutting for its new shower trailer this past weekend, and with its debut, they are going through clean clothing much faster.
Those who are willing and able are encouraged to donate new or gently used articles of clothing.
Most needed items include men’s and women’s athletic shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, and summer socks.
On the impact these clothing donations have, the Warming Center explained, “A clean outfit after a shower is about so much more than clothing—it restores dignity, boosts confidence, and reminds our guests that our community cares. Together, we can ensure every guest leaves with fresh clothes, clean socks, and hope for a better day.”
Donations can be dropped off at the Warming Center, located at 623 Ontario Avenue, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and noon.
