The lawsuit filed against a Washington County zoo is being dismissed.
A judge recently ruled in favor of the Shalom Wildlife Zoo in West Bend after a group called We Love Farmington claimed a conditional use permit was wrongly approved.
However, Farmington’s town board changed its zoning rules in December that included “zoological activities” as a permitted use on agricultural land of 100 acres or more.
The judge said the zoning change made the lawsuit moot, and other claims of harm in the lawsuit were dismissed due to a lack of evidence.
