The IRS is giving residents and businesses in Wisconsin counties affected by the April tornadoes and flooding additional time to file federal taxes.
Residents in Jefferson County and several others now have until November 2nd to file most federal returns and make payments that would have been due after April 13th.
The extended deadline also applies to estimated tax payments, many business returns, and disaster-related casualty claims.
Other counties include Rock, Sauk, and Juneau counties.
